Sympathetic Sun Room

I have recently successfully obtained both Planning and Listed Building Consent for my clients who live in a listed 3 bedroom semi-detached two storey property. The design is for a Sun Room to replace a tired timber conservatory in a poor state of repair. Although the property is listed, being originally part of a former farm dating from around the 1700’s, none of the original heritage fabric remains having been extensively rebuilt sometime around the late 1980’s using traditional construction and modern materials.
The proposed Sun Room is a single storey addition on the rear of the property which will be sympathetic to the main property, matching the existing materials used, and will benefit from the west facing sun throughout the day. The room will be a great asset to the home, and will provide a fantastic space in which to relax and enjoy the garden. The project was modelled on Autodesk Revit LT
